A new sailing port will be built at the northern corner of the lake Balaton by the city of Balatonfűzfő.
The owner of the port will be the city council of Balatonfűzfő, and the NordPoint Sailing Association will be in charge for the operation. Their main goal is to train new generations of sailers, the place will be perfect for sailing courses and other events also. The coast-side job is by FŰZFŐ-TERV Építész Iroda Kft. Realiscon team made 6 versions of the design and started the preliminary examinations (geodesic and soil mechanics test) back in September of 2022. After this we were working on the documentation of the results and analyse the local ecosystem’s floral and animal population, in particular the protected species. Now we are finalizing the design and this means that the execution work is about to start. The port will be ready for the 2024 season! It will be ideal for 40-45 ships and hopefully will help to attract many new fans for the „boatiful” lifestyle of sailing.
