Aurea Ana Palace Hotel 5-star
HOTEL DEVELOPMENT
A Historic Heritage Reborn
The Spanish Eurostars Hotel Company (Hotusa Grupo) acquired two listed buildings at 15 and 17 Akadémia Street in Budapest. Built in 1847 and 1895, these palaces are outstanding not only for their architectural value but also for their historical significance – according to tradition, Queen Elisabeth of Austria (Sissi) herself once visited the site.
Renovation began in 2018, based on the designs of the world-renowned Capella Garcia Arquitectura and the Hungarian TÉR4 architectural studio, with the aim of preserving the historical character while ensuring the full comfort of a modern luxury hotel.
An Exceptional Building, an Exceptional Task
During the project, Realiscon acted as technical supervisor, working in close cooperation with the Spanish developer and the design teams.
Our responsibilities included:
– Continuous quality supervision throughout the construction process
– Managing the technical challenges arising from the heritage status
– Aligning the investor’s vision with the practical realities of construction
The creation of the interiors presented numerous technical challenges for all parties involved. Thanks to high-level quality control, the finished building fits perfectly with the requirements of a five-star hotel.
The Result – Harmony of Historical Past and Contemporary Luxury
Today, the Aurea Ana Palace Hotel offers 98 rooms and 9 suites, each uniquely designed to blend historical details with modern comfort.
In addition to the guest rooms, the hotel offers a range of premium facilities, each requiring meticulous attention during the construction: restaurant and bar, Spa and wellness area, fitness centre, conference and meeting rooms. The result of the renovation is a property that both the developer and the construction team – and we at Realiscon – are proud of.
