Burger King Drive-In Csepel
DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW RESTAURANT
A Sustainable Drive-In for Budapest’s Csepel District
Next to Csepel Plaza, an underutilized site is being transformed into a vibrant new urban space that will host the district’s first Burger King restaurant, scheduled to open in early 2026. The 334 m² building is designed for Class “A” energy performance and will operate with zero direct emissions, using a fully electric heating-cooling system and heat-recovery ventilation for optimal efficiency.
The green roof and living façade add visual appeal while improving air quality and mitigating the urban heat-island effect. As part of the broader development, landscaped public areas, diverse plantings, an automatic irrigation system, and new walkways will create an accessible pedestrian link between Csepel Plaza and the surrounding streetscape.
Realiscon provides full technical supervision, monitoring construction quality, progress against design, and overseeing both the utility connections and the creation of the new landscaped areas that accompany this sustainable quick-service restaurant.
