WIZZ AIR aviation technology training centre – Rome

TRAINING CENTER DEVELOPMENT

From Budapest to Rome – Our Second Mission

In September 2024, Wizz Air inaugurated its second aviation training center in Rome, just steps away from Fiumicino Airport’s Terminal 1. Covering 2,500 m², the facility is equipped with two state-of-the-art Airbus A320 full-flight simulators, supported by classrooms, briefing rooms, multimedia spaces and offices, enabling the training of over 4,800 pilots each year.
For Realiscon, this project represents not only Wizz Air’s second training center but also our second collaboration in this unique field – following the successful completion of the Budapest Training Center in 2018. We were entrusted with comprehensive consultancy services: project management, technical and quality supervision, cost control, as well as architectural and interior design. Together with our local partner, Fortebis Srl, we transformed a 1970s facility into a modern, high-performance training environment that meets Wizz Air’s ambitious operational and training goals.
Throughout the process, we collaborated closely with Wizz Air’s internal teams across training, HR, security, IT, purchasing, marketing, and airline operations to fully align the center with the airline’s current and future needs.
