On Saturday, the visitor centre of the Schmidt Egon Ornithological and Nature Conservation Centre officially opened its doors.
The new home of BirdLife Hungary (MME) was completed last year at Mocsárosdűlő in Budapest. Today, the complex serves as headquarters, visitor centre and community space in one, creating new opportunities for nature conservation, education and public engagement.
The project was realised through funding from the LIFE Programme, complemented by MME’s own resources and private donations.
Realiscon contributed to the development through project management and technical supervision services.
