Sustainable mobility – and cycling in particular – is a simple yet effective way to reduce an individual’s carbon footprint. To promote this mindset within our team, we organise our annual Bike To Work Challenge each year. The programme encourages colleagues to choose cycling as part of their daily routine while also creating a shared community experience.

This year’s challenge took place between 27 April and 15 May, in connection with the international Bike To Work Day initiative. Thirteen colleagues took part, forming three teams – Mules, Let’s Roll, and The Greenest – and collected kilometres while commuting to work, travelling to meetings, or simply taking a cycling break during the working day.

The 2026 Bike To Work travelling trophy was ultimately won by The Greenest team, which accumulated a total of 415 kilometres during the three-week challenge. In keeping with tradition, the trophy was presented by the previous year’s winners during a shared breakfast and award ceremony.

The real value of the challenge, however, lies beyond the rankings. Year after year, the Bike To Work programme demonstrates that sustainable mobility, regular physical activity and community experiences reinforce one another and can become a natural part of everyday life.

Thank you to all our colleagues who took part, and congratulations to this year’s winning team!
