The first Burger King restaurant in Csepel has opened in the immediate vicinity of Csepel Plaza. The development reimagines a previously underutilized site, contributing not only a new food service unit but also a more organised and liveable urban environment.

Sustainability played a key role in the design of the 334 m² drive-in building. The restaurant achieved an “A” energy rating and operates with a fully electric heating and cooling system combined with heat recovery ventilation, resulting in zero direct on-site emissions.

The green roof adds a distinctive architectural element while also contributing to improved local microclimate and mitigating the urban heat island effect. As part of the development, landscaped areas and new pedestrian connections were created, enhancing usability and integrating the project more closely into the surrounding urban fabric.

Realiscon acted as Technical Supervisor throughout the project, monitoring construction quality and ensuring compliance with the design, including the implementation of utility connections and landscape works.
