Mozata Lebanese Bistro

RESTAURANT DEVELOPMENT

Sustainable Dining in a Historic Urban Setting

Mozata Lebanese Bistro opened its doors in October 2019 in downtown Budapest, at 3 Párizsi Street, on the ground floor of a historic residential building. Beyond its Middle Eastern culinary concept, the project stands out as Europe’s first LEED Gold certified restaurant.

From the earliest design stages, sustainability was fully integrated into the development of the bistro, bakery, and café. The ambition was to create a high-quality interior environment that enhances guest comfort while ensuring lower operational costs. Environmentally conscious material selection, energy-efficient building systems, and a healthy indoor climate were embedded into the project from concept to completion.

The general design was carried out by Minusplus Generáltervező Kft., with interior design by Position Collective. Realiscon participated as technical supervisor, overseeing construction quality and compliance with the approved plans, with particular attention to meeting the sustainability objectives.
Delivered within a sensitive historic urban context, the project required careful coordination to integrate modern, environmentally responsible solutions into an existing structure. The result is a restaurant that offers not only a refined culinary experience but also represents a milestone in sustainable hospitality in Europe.
